Welcome to Ysum (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using our website, browser extension, or any related services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service immediately.

1. Description of Service

Ysum is an AI-based tool that generates personalized summaries from video content, including scoring and actionable insights. The Service is provided “as is” and may be updated or discontinued at any time without prior notice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you confirm you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

3. Accounts and Subscriptions

  • We may offer both free and paid subscription plans.
  • Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) and are non-refundable, except where required by law.
  • The free version is provided without guarantees and may have limitations.

4. User Content

  • You may provide us with content (including video links, transcripts, and related metadata).
  • By doing so, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store and process such content solely to provide and improve the Service.
  • We store scoring data but do not use it to train AI models.

5. Prohibited Use

  • Use the Service for unlawful purposes.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the Service.
  • Violate the rights of others, including copyright.

6. Copyright & DMCA

If you believe content processed or displayed by Ysum infringes your copyright, you may send a request to remove it at brevladisuno@gmail.com. Please include:

  • Your contact information.
  • A description of the copyrighted work.
  • The location of the allegedly infringing content.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized.

We will review and act upon valid requests in accordance with applicable laws.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclosure

Summaries, scores, and insights provided by Ysum are generated using artificial intelligence and may contain inaccuracies. They are for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as factual or professional advice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, if you violate these Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11. Privacy Policy

Ysum’s collection and use of personal information and other data is subject to Ysum’s Privacy Policy at https://ysum.app/privacy-policy.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
